giffgaff introduces the unlocked and squeezable HTC U11

giffgaff has announced it will be stocking the HTC U11 at industry competitive prices. The seamlessly curved device will be available to buy online either out-right, or by paying the phone off each month, spreading the cost over 6, 12, or 24 months.

As the contract-free mobile network run by its community, giffgaff’s new smartphone will come unlocked and ready with a PAYG SIM, with 4G goodybags available to buy from £5 up to £20 - new and improved with increased data at no extra cost. For £20, members get unlimited UK minutes, unlimited texts and ‘always on’ UK data.

The new HTC U11 can be purchased out-right for £629 to pay off each month at £29.98 across 24 months with an upfront deposit of £25, using Peer-to- Peer (P2P) lending, via Ratesetter.
For new members, a minimum £10 goodybag is required for the first payment, but this may be cancelled at any time.

Making ‘No-Contract’ accessible

Making ‘No-Contract’ accessible via Peer-to- Peer (P2P) lending is when one person lends to another without the involvement of a bank. By working with Ratesetter, giffgaff helps to match people with money to people who want to buy a phone. Members can decide how much they pay, and how long they want to take to pay back the loan – from between 6 to 24 months.

Packed with technology

With new Edge Sense technology, a simple squeeze unlocks a whole new world, allowing you to take photos, launch apps and text on the go. Edge Sense dramatically expands the functionality of your phone. You can configure it to access a wide range of functions and applications. One squeeze can open Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest. And with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa just a squeeze away, you get two powerful voice assistants ready at your command.

HTC U11 has a 5.5" 3D glass screen designed to preserve the authenticity of the image. With best display and true-to-life colour reproduction, the HTC U11 provides a purer full-framed viewing experience. The display avoids the cropped pictures or distorted colours at the edge that are the results you can expect from a curved screen.

The liquid glass surface is crafted to impress using Optical Spectrum Hybrid Deposition.

The HTC U11 is available to purchase here (though out of stock at the moment - ed): www.giffgaff.com/mobile-phones/htc

giffgaff will be stocking the phone model in: Amazing Silver and Sapphire Blue
