Rockstar Games Announces Red Dead Redemption 2

Rockstar Games has finally announced (after what seems like a life time of waiting) that the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 will release worldwide in the autumn of next year for the PS4 and Xbox One.

However as you may have worked out the PC version is not mentioned and while the original never made it to the platform this does not necessarily mean it won't come out; look at what happened to GTA V.

Then again this has not stopped one PC owner from creating a petition to ensure that the game does arrive on the PC. Currently this is up to 18k+ signatures now and they only need 7,000 more signatures to reach their goal of 25,000.

Anyways according to the blurb Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.

"With Red Dead Redemption 2, the team is working hard to push forward our vision for interactive entertainment in a truly living world," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "We hope to deliver players an epic experience that builds upon everything we've learned making games."

Note: A trailer is out tomorrow so we will post this here when it arrives.

This game is not yet rated by the ESRB.
